Data and purposes

When you email me, I process the information you provide (such as your name, company, email address and message) to respond and consider a possible project or role. The legal basis is taking steps you request before a contract or, for other enquiries, my legitimate interest in responding.

Netlify hosts the site and may process technical data needed to deliver and secure it, such as IP addresses and request logs. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in operating and securing the site.

Analytics and cookies

Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 and Ahrefs analytics load only after you consent. They help me understand site use and useful pages. Storage needed to remember your cookie choice and operate the site remains active. This site does not enable ad personalisation through that consent.

Your choice is saved in your browser as rj_consent_v1. After consent, the site may also store campaign attribution parameters as rj_attribution_v1. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie preferences” in the footer, or clear this site’s data in your browser.

The booking calendar opens on Cal.com only if you choose that link. Its privacy policy applies to information entered there. LinkedIn also has its own privacy notice when you follow that link.

Retention and recipients

I keep correspondence as long as needed to respond and, if we work together, to manage the relationship and legal duties. Technical and analytics data are retained under the providers’ settings for as long as needed for the purposes above. The named providers may process data for me or under their own notices; transfers outside the EEA follow the safeguards stated by those providers.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction and portability where applicable, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. Email rudi@rjantos.com. You may also complain to the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
